Your Privacy Choices
Last updated: July 22, 2026
This page describes how residents of California, and residents of other US states with similar privacy laws, can exercise their rights over the personal information QR Maker collects about them. It is provided in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), which requires operators of consumer-facing websites to publish an explicit privacy-choices page.
Do We Sell or Share Your Personal Information?
No.
QR Maker does not sell your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. The only third parties who receive your personal information are the subprocessors listed in our Privacy Policy §4, and only for the purpose of providing the QR Maker service to you.
Because we do not sell or share your personal information, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share” opt-out to activate. This page nonetheless exists to confirm our policy explicitly and to give you a direct route to exercise your other rights.
Your Rights
If you are a California resident (or a resident of a state with similar consumer privacy protections), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect about you, the categories of sources, the business purposes, and the categories of third parties we share it with — all documented in our Privacy Policy.
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information — although QR Maker uses only limited categories of sensitive personal information (photos that may contain biometric-adjacent signals; see Privacy Policy §4b for what is and is not biometric).
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information — even though we do not do either.
- Non-discrimination when you exercise these rights — we will not deny you service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
How to Exercise Your Rights
Email privacy@qr-maker.io with the subject line “Privacy Choices Request” and include:
- The right you would like to exercise (know, delete, correct, limit, opt-out).
- The email address associated with your QR Maker account or the specific data you are asking about.
- Whether you are a California resident (or the applicable state).
We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, as required by the CCPA. In some cases we may need to verify your identity (typically by asking you to reply from the account email address on file) — this is a legal requirement, not an obstacle to exercising your rights.
Authorised Agents
You may designate an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide a signed written authorisation from you, and — for identity-verification purposes — may still ask you to confirm the request directly.
